Prayer Programme
24-hour Prayer Day
We have prepared notes to guide individuals, groups and church congregations taking part in the Gwent Baptist Association 24-hour Prayer Day on 7-8 May along with Zoom link details.
The theme, based upon the life of David, draws upon Chapter One of Jonathan Forman’s new prayer booklet, “Pray Without Ceasing”. The appendix to the notes shows a sign-up sheet which you can use to organise your members for the prayer day allowing them to choose a specific hour they would like to cover. We would be grateful if you could let us know if your church will be joining the event and to share any testimonies in the coming days by contacting the Revd. The prayer event begins with an online Family Prayer time beginning at 4.30pm on the Friday and closes with an online Celebration at 7pm on the Saturday. We encourage leaders who have copies of the booklet to use the Bible study on pages 12-13 as a lead into the prayer day for their churches. However, we respectfully remind people that this should not be distributed.
We look forward to waiting on the Lord while praising Him and seeking His help and guidance for the challenges that lie ahead.
